People Analytics Consultant

Location: Boston, United States; hybrid work environment. Applicants must be currently authorized to work full-time in the United States. This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship.

Base salary: $88,000–$126,000 per year, plus eligibility for a competitive incentive bonus.

What you will do

• Advise HR stakeholders and business leaders on workforce and talent decisions using data and analytics.
• Translate business questions into analyses, dashboards, reports, and actionable recommendations.
• Deliver executive-ready presentations, visualizations, and data storytelling for technical and non-technical audiences.
• Lead and support employee listening initiatives, including evaluation of feedback strategies and identification of emerging themes.
• Partner with HR Technology and cross-functional teams on workforce trends, talent initiatives, data accessibility, and reporting.
• Promote data governance, privacy, responsible use of employee data, and scalable self-service analytics solutions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education and experience in a relevant analytical, business, psychology, human resources, or technical discipline.
• 6+ years of experience in People Analytics, Workforce Analytics, HR Analytics, Workforce Planning, or a related analytical function.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, consulting, stakeholder management, communication, presentation, and storytelling skills.
• Experience working with workforce and talent data and translating analysis into business recommendations.
• Experience with analytical tools and business intelligence platforms; familiarity with SQL, Python, R, Power BI, or Tableau.
• Ability to handle confidential and sensitive employee information with discretion and integrity.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree in Industrial-Organizational Psychology, Data Science, Statistics, Analytics, Human Resources, Business Analytics, or a related field.
• Experience with modern HCM platforms, preferably Workday.
• Experience with employee listening programs, workforce forecasting, scenario planning, statistical modeling, predictive analytics, or AI-enabled analytics.
• Knowledge of talent management, recruiting, employee engagement, organizational effectiveness, and workforce planning.
