Medical Assistant (40 hours Weekly, PTO and Benefits) - Berea, KY-2

Location: Berea, Kentucky, United States; onsite role

Salary: $21.00–$25.00 per hour

What you will do

• Support a primary care physician and deliver a positive patient experience.
• Room patients, clean and stock exam rooms, review medical information, and collect updated health data.
• Take vital signs, perform blood draws, administer injections and immunizations, bandage wounds, and assist with procedures.
• Prepare and administer approved medications according to provider direction and written orders.
• Manage scheduling, check-in and check-out, medical record requests, documentation, referrals, and specialist coordination.
• Process test results, conduct patient outreach, maintain supplies and equipment, and help identify gaps in care.

Requirements

• At least one year of Medical Assistant experience, preferably in primary care.
• Graduation from a formal Medical Assistant or related program.
• National or state-specific Medical Assistant certification or registration; certification or registration is required where mandated by state law.
• CPR/BLS certification is required by the start date.
• Phlebotomy experience is preferred.
