Inventory Control Specialist (Maritime Robotics)

Location: San Diego, CA; in-office. Candidates must be U.S. persons under U.S. export control laws and independently authorized to work in the United States.

Salary: $30–$35 per hour, plus stock options, 401(k) matching, and other benefits.

What you will do

• Process incoming materials accurately and on schedule, including urgent deliveries.
• Perform cycle counts, wall-to-wall counts, and annual physical inventories while reconciling physical stock with system records.
• Investigate and resolve misplaced, damaged, excess, and otherwise discrepant materials by identifying root causes.
• Execute bin-to-bin transfers, reservations, adjustments, and material tracing from receiving through storage, work-in-progress, and outbound shipment.
• Organize warehouse locations and material master data to improve material retrieval and storage.
• Partner with Production, Supply Chain, and other teams to improve workflows, document standard work, and escalate significant inventory risks.

Requirements

• Experience in inventory control, warehousing, or materials handling, preferably in manufacturing.
• Experience with WMS, ERP, or equivalent inventory systems and basic Excel tracking and reporting.
• Knowledge of lot, serial, and batch tracking, barcode scanners, and warehouse technology.
• Ability to operate forklifts and pallet jacks or obtain certification.
• Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds and stand or walk for most of the shift.
• Must be a U.S. person and independently authorized to work in the United States; employment visa sponsorship is not available.
