Logistics Policy Analyst (Defense)

Location: Falls Church, VA, United States; hybrid with 3 days onsite per week. Travel up to 20%, including occasional travel to Washington, DC, Silver Spring, MD, Fort Detrick, MD, the Pentagon, and Fort Belvoir, VA.

What you will do

• Draft, review, and update medical logistics policies, SOPs, playbooks, decision trees, quick-reference guides, and BLUF summaries aligned with DoD instructions, national security directives, CUI standards, and FDA requirements.
• Analyze and resolve conflicting logistics policies across military branches, the Defense Health Agency, the Defense Logistics Agency, and partner agencies.
• Develop standardized taxonomies, templates, quality gates, communication plans, and policy lifecycle controls.
• Govern the Secure Meds SharePoint repository, including navigation, version control, audit trails, waivers, exceptions, and archival of obsolete policies.
• Map logistics workflows and maintain communication pipelines, alerts, digests, dashboards, and feedback loops for operational units and medical logisticians.
• Support ETMS2 and CATMS tasking, legislative inquiries, Congressional reporting, and classified analyses of pharmaceutical supply chain vulnerabilities.

Requirements

• US citizenship and an active Secret security clearance required.
• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, public administration, information or knowledge management, or a related field.
• At least five years of professional experience in knowledge management, interagency agreement management, or program support within DoD or federal agencies.
• Working knowledge of CUI handling requirements and RBAC principles.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including briefing senior government stakeholders.
