What you will do
- Manage inventory levels, retrieve data from the Consolidated Logistics System, analyze procurement recommendations, solicit quotes, and prepare acquisition documentation.
- Monitor purchasing, distribution, disposition, deliveries, and replenishment spares for NEXRAD, ASOS, Upper Air, and other surface-observing systems.
- Develop and maintain engineering, maintenance, logistics, project, and program documentation.
- Establish schedules, project goals, deliverables, resource plans, risk mitigation strategies, and budget tracking.
- Coordinate cross-functional stakeholders and meetings, monitor project progress, resolve escalations, and provide status reporting.
- Analyze operational performance and identify process improvements and standardized procedures.
Requirements
- Must be a US citizen.
- Bachelor’s degree in science, engineering, or a related or equivalent field.
- 5–7 years of experience in logistics or a related area.
- Experience requisitioning, processing, and tracking logistics transactions, preferably using MILSTRIP.
- Knowledge of military supply chains, including requisitioning, release, issue, redistribution, and disposal of materiel.
- Experience with inventory management, procurement, project documentation, and operational performance analysis.
