APS-3: Supply Technician - Property Book

Location: Charleston, South Carolina, United States. On-site work involving indoor and outdoor duties in non-climate-controlled environments; must be able to obtain and maintain local base access and a favorable Common Access Card (CAC).

What you will do

• Lead and train the Property Management team and provide guidance to hourly supply personnel.
• Lead inventories for Class VII and Class II equipment and maintain 100% accountability of major end items.
• Coordinate equipment and material pickup or delivery with shops and track accountability.
• Enter and research property transactions in GCSS-Army and DTS, including redistribution across Army units.
• Maintain files, create reports in Microsoft Office, and conduct causative research.
• Uphold safety standards and support the supervisor with additional supply activities.

Requirements

• High school diploma required; a related bachelor's degree is preferred.
• Experience as a DoD contractor, GSA employee, or uniformed military member is preferred.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen.
• Must possess a valid state motor vehicle operator license and be able to obtain local base access and a favorable CAC issuance.
• Must be able to stand, walk, lift up to 35–50 lbs. periodically, and work in non-climate-controlled environments.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of Supply Support Activity core processes, Excess and Reparable Management, and Plant 2000/2001 MRP.
• Familiarity with Business Intelligence Launch Pad supply reports.
• GCSS-Army troubleshooting, customer requirements, material procurement, and GTRAC knowledge.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
