Project Manager (Construction Management)

Location: Albany, New York, United States

Pay rate: $75–80 per hour

Construction management and consulting firm providing services across the construction life cycle, including construction and program management, owner’s representation, resident engineering, inspection, preconstruction consulting, change order review, value engineering, document control, and staff augmentation.

What you will do

• Manage and oversee all phases of a large, complex, phased renovation project.
• Coordinate contractors, architects, engineers, consultants, and project stakeholders.
• Monitor schedules, budgets, construction progress, quality, and site logistics.
• Manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project documentation.
• Identify and resolve construction, scheduling, and coordination issues.
• Lead project meetings, provide progress updates, and support project closeout and turnover.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or a related field.
• Strong project management and construction management experience.
• Experience with large, complex, phased renovation projects is required.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with occupied or operational facilities is preferred.
• Public-sector or institutional construction experience is a plus; PE is preferred but not required.
