Principal Program Manager (Radar)

Location: Onsite in East Syracuse, New York, United States. Domestic and international travel required up to 10–15% annually.

Salary: $165,700–$223,800 per year.

What you will do

• Lead assigned program portfolios, managing cost, schedule, technical performance, customer satisfaction, and profitable growth.
• Establish program strategies, budgets, execution plans, performance metrics, and EVMS reporting.
• Direct complex radar and Air Traffic Management programs across design, development, manufacturing, integration, installation, deployment, modernization, and sustainment.
• Drive business growth and capture activities across defense, civil aviation, commercial radar, and Air Traffic Management markets.
• Manage relationships with the FAA, international air service organizations, military and civil aviation customers, and major industry primes.
• Oversee requirements, risk, integration, operational readiness, site acceptance, regulatory compliance, civil works, subcontractors, and cross-functional teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, or a related discipline; a master’s degree or MBA is preferred.
• 12+ years of experience in surveillance systems, radar, civil aviation, and FAA capability production programs or project management.
• Experience with risk and opportunity management, product production transfers, defense programs, and federal contracting processes including EVMS, ECP/RFV, FAR, OTAs, SAPs, CRADAs, and WPP.
• Must be a U.S. citizen and must hold or be able to obtain a U.S. Secret security clearance. TS/SCI eligibility is a plus.
• Strong communication, organization, time management, business, and stakeholder-management skills.
• Onsite work in East Syracuse, New York is required.

• Experience with direct commercial and Foreign Military Sales.
• Experience supporting FAA programs, international air service organizations, and civil infrastructure or construction activities.
• TS/SCI security clearance.
