Program Manager (Aerospace and Defense)

Location: Fully onsite in Chandler, Arizona, United States; travel up to approximately 25% is expected.

Salary: $83,400–$155,000 per year.

What you will do

• Own day-to-day execution for a portfolio of mature and production aerospace and defense programs.
• Serve as the primary external customer-facing representative and manage complex customer relationships.
• Balance schedules, contractual commitments, financial objectives, risks, and operational constraints across multiple programs.
• Own program financial performance, P&L outcomes, bookings, forecasts, margins, ETC, and EAC activities.
• Support proposals, pricing, contracts, negotiations, work authorizations, and executive-level program reviews.
• Lead cross-functional recovery actions and drive execution directly with Operations and factory-floor teams.

Requirements

• U.S. citizenship or other qualifying U.S. Person status is required due to U.S. Government export-control requirements.
• Bachelor’s degree required; Business or Engineering is preferred.
• At least 4 years of Program Management experience preferred; approximately 3 years of relevant hands-on experience may be considered.
• Direct experience managing external customers and high-visibility relationships.
• Experience managing multiple complex programs in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of ETC/EAC, forecasting, margins, bookings, proposals, pricing, contracts, negotiations, and ERP systems such as Oracle or SAP.

Nice to have

• Aerospace and defense experience.
• Experience in medical manufacturing, semiconductor, or other complex technical manufacturing environments.
• Practical understanding of Lean/Six Sigma principles.
