Engineering Program Manager (Aerospace)

Location: El Segundo, California, United States; onsite program leadership role. U.S. citizenship and ITAR-defined U.S. person status are required. The role may require access to classified information and the ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret/SCI clearance.

What you will do

• Lead advanced aerospace programs from concept and proposal through design, integration, testing, deployment, and fielding.
• Serve as the primary interface for U.S. Government customers and align mission requirements with the technology roadmap.
• Manage cost, schedule, technical performance, contractual commitments, and program milestones.
• Translate mission needs into product requirements, guide design reviews, and manage technical and contractual changes with engineering.
• Lead program reviews, technical and schedule briefings, requirements negotiations, and stakeholder relationships.
• Identify risks, develop mitigation plans, and shape future aerospace opportunities with government and industry partners.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related technical field.
• 6+ years of experience in aerospace, defense, or national security programs.
• Experience managing complex, multidisciplinary engineering programs to cost and schedule.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. Government acquisition processes, contracting, operational concepts, and USG programs.
• Excellent communication and technical writing skills, including CDRLs and technical data packages.
• U.S. citizenship, ITAR-defined U.S. person status, and the ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret/SCI clearance are required.

Nice to have

• Active Top Secret/SCI clearance.
• Experience with rapid prototyping, OTA contracts, and accelerated development environments.
• Knowledge of requirements decomposition and systems verification.
• Experience working in fast-moving environments with compressed timelines.
