What you will do
- Program, prepare, load, and operate CNC woodworking machines.
- Read blueprints and mechanical drawings and translate instructions into computer commands.
- Run tests, supervise machine cycles, and make adjustments to improve production results.
- Inspect and measure finished components against specifications.
- Perform finishing and assembly work as required.
- Check and maintain machinery daily for reliable operation.
Requirements
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical documents and drawings.
- Mechanical aptitude and strong mathematics skills.
- Experience operating CNC machinery, tooling, and precision measurement equipment is preferred.
- Proven CNC operator experience and a woodworking background are preferred.
- Basic understanding of computer programming and CAD/CAM is preferred.
- A two-year associate degree is preferred.
