Machinist (CNC)

Location: New Freedom, Pennsylvania, United States; onsite day shift, Monday–Friday, 7:30 a.m.–4:00 p.m.

What you will do

• Set up machines and manufacture first-piece and production parts for labeling machinery.
• Read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, safety rules, and operating procedures.
• Perform first-piece inspections and measure parts to verify quality and dimensional compliance.
• Select tooling, adjust speeds and feeds, and load and debug CNC computer programs.
• Maintain raw-material and machine-shop tool inventory.
• Follow machine guarding, housekeeping, safety, and preventive-maintenance requirements.

Requirements

• At least two years of machining experience or completion of a one- or two-year Tool Technology or related program.
• Experience setting up and operating CNC milling machines, band saws, and related equipment.
• Ability to communicate and participate in technical discussions in English.
• Ability to read detailed blueprints and follow oral and written instructions.
• Ability to manage CNC programs, perform basic math with fractions and decimals, and maintain an organized work area.
• Dependability, punctuality, interpersonal skills, multitasking ability, and willingness to work overtime when required.
