CNC Machinist (Hunt Valve)

Location: Salem, Ohio, United States. Onsite work at Hunt Valve Co. Positions are available on 1st shift (6:00am–4:30pm), 2nd shift (4:30pm–2:30am), and 3rd shift (8:00pm–6:00am).

What you will do

• Set up and operate CNC mills, lathes, and other machining equipment.
• Manufacture valve parts from engineering blueprints to tight tolerances within .001 inch.
• Load CNC programs and perform simple edits as needed.
• Work with CNC programmers to ensure parts meet drawing specifications.
• Operate one or more CNC machines under supervisor direction.
• Follow company ethics and operational policies.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience operating CNC or equivalent machinery.
• At least 1 year of experience with Fanuc and/or Okuma controls.
• Ability to read blueprints and engineering requirements.
• Ability to use inspection measuring devices and maintain strong attention to detail.
• Ability to stand or sit for prolonged periods and move around the facility.
• Ability to lift, push, pull, or carry up to 25 pounds frequently or 50 pounds occasionally during an 8–12 hour shift.

Nice to have

• High school diploma.
