Supervisor, Integration (Aerospace)

Location: Onsite in Long Beach, California, United States. Full-time role with potential overtime, non-standard shifts, weekends, cleanroom work, and travel of up to 10–25% to test sites or launch facilities. The hired person must be a U.S. person or otherwise eligible for deemed export licensing.

Salary: $96,000–$137,000 USD per year in California.

What you will do

• Direct daily shift activities and workflow execution for integration technicians.
• Coordinate handoffs between first and second shifts and manage workforce allocation, schedules, and time tracking.
• Train, mentor, onboard, and develop technicians while maintaining compliance with technical standards.
• Supervise hands-on integration of flight hardware, including structural assembly, fluid and pneumatic routing, avionics harness installation, and component mating.
• Ensure compliance with engineering work instructions, technical drawings, schematics, safety practices, and aerospace quality specifications.
• Work with Manufacturing, Quality, and Responsible Engineering teams to resolve blockers, non-conformances, issue tickets, and design-for-manufacturing improvements.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED equivalency.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience in aerospace integration, mechanical assembly, or high-reliability hardware manufacturing.
• 2+ years of experience leading, coordinating, or supervising technicians in a production, laboratory, or cleanroom environment.
• Ability to interpret engineering assembly drawings, electrical schematics, harness routing layouts, and work instructions.
• Hands-on proficiency with precision measuring equipment, torque tools, pneumatic or fluid lines, and specialized mechanical hand tools.
• Ability to lift 25–50 lbs unassisted, work in cleanrooms, climb ladders, navigate tight vehicle bays, and stand for extended periods.

Nice to have

• Experience leading multi-shift operations in aerospace hardware manufacturing or development.
• Familiarity with MES, ERP platforms, Jira, Confluence, and Google Workspace.
• Experience with vehicle closeout operations, high-pressure pneumatic testing, leak checks, or propulsion subassembly integration.
