Industrial Engineer (Aerospace)

Location: West Lafayette, Indiana, United States. On-site role supporting aircraft production. Candidates must be U.S. citizens, permanent residents, or protected individuals under 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3).

Salary: $80,900–$101,100 per year.

What you will do

• Develop production systems, working methods, and work instructions that reduce costs while maintaining quality.
• Design efficient production systems and assembly lines based on Lean principles.
• Improve process planning for current and new aircraft products.
• Standardize assembly practices, work measurement, and cycle times.
• Model short- and long-term production strategies for rate changes and staffing needs.
• Develop production flows, facility layouts, capacity plans, and accident-prevention measures.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering or a related discipline.
• At least 2 years of related experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to take initiative.
• Ability to collaborate across functional areas and work independently.
• Ability to work an extended or flexible schedule when required.
• U.S. citizenship, permanent-resident status, or protected-individual status is required.
