Location: Remote, anywhere in Spain or the UK
Salary: UK £63,600–£95,400; Spain €46,800–€70,200 per year

What you will do
- Coach and advise managers and C-suite leaders on people strategy, performance management, team restructures, career development, and healthy workplace boundaries.
- Manage complex employee relations and performance matters with fairness, empathy, and compliance.
- Support remote teams across multiple countries and time zones with cultural awareness and local labor law expertise.
- Design and deliver scalable people, culture, performance, and manager-support frameworks.
- Collaborate with People Operations, Talent, Learning and Development, People Projects and Insights, and other People Partners.
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience as an HRBP or People Partner in a fast-paced startup or scale-up.
- Hands-on knowledge of UK and Spain labor laws and employment practices, including experience working with Employers of Record.
- Ability to manage employee relations, manager coaching, project proposals, and people initiatives while switching context effectively.
- Strong ownership, resilience, bias for action, and experience working asynchronously.
- Empathetic, human-first approach with clear boundaries and honest expectations.
- Comfort with Slack, Notion, 15Five, Deel, and AI tools.
Nice to have
- Experience supporting globally distributed teams across multiple time zones.
- Familiarity with labor laws and employment practices in additional countries.
