Outcome Engineer (AI)

Salary: $200,000–$320,000 per year plus equity

What you will do

• Architect multi-agent systems with orchestration layers for specialized agents to collaborate, debate, and execute complex tasks.
• Build automated governance, guardrails, and policy engines for safe autonomous system operation.
• Develop semantic infrastructure, including knowledge graphs and vector stores, to provide agents with context and memory.
• Create evaluation frameworks, formal specifications, automated metrics, and testing harnesses for agentic outputs.
• Connect observability data to self-healing agent loops that detect, analyze, and remediate failures.
• Prototype and deploy agentic tools to production for internal teams and customers while experimenting with new models and orchestration techniques.

Requirements

• History of shipping reliable products, tools, platforms, or other production systems.
• Recent hands-on experience building and using AI agents and understanding the limitations of frameworks such as LangChain or AutoGen.
• Strong ability to collaborate intensively across disciplines and communicate through clear technical writing.
• Experience or strong interest in software engineering, AI research, game engineering, product management, platform/SRE, design, or agentic systems.
• Working knowledge of large language models and vector databases.
• Experience with Node.js, TypeScript, PostgreSQL, Redis, Kubernetes, and AWS is relevant to the foundational stack.

Nice to have

• Experience designing simulations, games, world models, observability systems, reliability automation, or complex agent coordination.
• Experience with multi-agent orchestration, autonomous systems, or formal validation of agent behavior.
