Outcome Engineer (AI)

Location: Seattle, WA; hybrid

Salary: $200,000–$320,000 annually, plus equity

What you will do

• Architect multi-agent systems with orchestration layers for specialized agents to collaborate, debate, and execute complex tasks.
• Build governance infrastructure, policy engines, and guardrails for safe autonomous operation.
• Develop semantic context and memory infrastructure using knowledge graphs and vector databases.
• Create evaluation frameworks, testing harnesses, formal specifications, and automated metrics for agentic outputs.
• Connect observability data to self-healing agent actions that detect, analyze, and remediate failures.
• Prototype and deploy agentic tools for internal teams and customers while experimenting with new models and orchestration techniques.

Requirements

• History of shipping reliable products rather than only theoretical prototypes.
• Recent hands-on experience building and using AI agents in production or practical projects.
• Strong collaboration skills and willingness to work synchronously in a high-bandwidth distributed environment.
• Ability to communicate clearly through technical writing and document experiments, architectural decisions, and failures.
• Experience or strong interest in software engineering, AI research, game engineering, product management, platform/SRE, design, or agentic systems.
• Technical familiarity with large language models and vector databases; the foundational stack includes Node.js, TypeScript, PostgreSQL, Redis, Kubernetes, and AWS.
