Supervisor, Transportation & Logistics - Memphis

Location: On-site in Memphis, TN, with travel between warehouses, vendor sites, and data center locations; the role is based in the United States.

What you will do

• Hire, supervise, coach, and manage the performance, attendance, overtime, and corrective actions of commercial drivers.
• Build driver schedules, route assignments, and workload plans for delivery windows and site priorities.
• Oversee the safe loading, unloading, securing, and transport of servers, networking equipment, power systems, cooling infrastructure, and other high-value materials.
• Ensure compliance with CDL, Hours of Service, ELD, DOT, company safety, and documentation requirements.
• Manage barcode scanning, WMS/ERP transactions, receiving, inventory, and chain-of-custody processes.
• Monitor fleet condition, investigate incidents, resolve delivery exceptions, and implement improvements to safety, cost, efficiency, and on-time delivery.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalency certificate.
• Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL).
• At least 3 years of commercial driving experience, including short-haul driving.
• At least 2 years of formal supervisory or people-leadership experience over drivers, transportation, or warehouse/logistics teams.
• Ability to work on-site in Memphis, TN and travel between operational locations.
• Availability for extended hours, evenings, and weekends as required, plus the ability to perform physical work in warehouse and outdoor environments.

Nice to have

• Experience in expediting, material handling, high-volume manufacturing, or data center logistics.
• Experience with barcode scanning, ERP/WMS systems, forklifts, and other material-handling equipment.
• Experience transporting high-value or sensitive equipment.
• Hazardous Materials Endorsement (HME) or ability to obtain one.
• Experience with incident investigations, SOP coaching, and operational KPIs.
