Transportation Operations Specialist (Logistics)

Location: On-site at a customer location in the Henderson/Las Vegas Area, Las Vegas, NV, United States. Full-time, Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.

What you will do

• Execute transportation workflows by coordinating customers, 3PLs, carriers, warehouses, and other service providers to meet KPIs and OKRs such as OTIF.
• Arrange domestic and international shipments based on cost, transit time, and transportation mode, including standard escalations and critical-shipment requirements.
• Manage warehouse inbound and outbound transportation, warehouse and trailer capacity, and delivery monitoring.
• Identify and resolve operational issues, delivery bottlenecks, and shipping and receiving problems while implementing corrective actions.
• Drive carrier and service-provider performance, support data collection and interpretation, and use analytics to improve transportation efficiency.
• Act as the primary liaison between internal departments, vendors, customers, warehouse providers, and carriers while ensuring SOP compliance.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent working experience.
• 2–4 years of experience in supply chain, logistics, and/or transportation.
• Solid experience with logistics software and systems, including ERP systems, transportation management systems (TMS), and warehouse management systems (WMS).
• Strong knowledge of international shipping regulations and customs procedures.
• Effective communication, negotiation, and issue-resolution skills.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to lead, develop, and drive a cross-functional team; build relationships across roles; collaborate on solutions; and manage conflict.
• Strong Microsoft Office or Google Business tools knowledge, professional business communication, adaptability, time management, multitasking, prioritization, proactive problem-solving, persistence, and a results-oriented approach.
