SLT Program Manager (Semiconductor)

Location: Irvine, California, USA; on-site production leadership with occasional international travel to Asia production sites

Annual base salary: USD 129,400–207,000, plus discretionary annual bonus and equity awards.

What you will do

• Own end-to-end SLT execution for multiple concurrent XPU customer programs from silicon bring-up through production ramp and sustained volume operations.
• Manage schedules, risks, customer commitments, quality gates, test coverage, yield, cost, and resource prioritization.
• Lead SLT production operations across US R&D and Asia sites, including capacity forecasting, shift planning, equipment readiness, and operational escalations.
• Evaluate and deploy advanced test methodologies, ATE equipment, automation tooling, margining, Vmin stress, and multi-site protocols.
• Lead root-cause analysis and corrective actions for yield misses, test escapes, equipment issues, and schedule delays.
• Collaborate with Design/DFT, Manufacturing, Logistics, Quality/Reliability, customers, and distributed engineering teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and 12+ years of related experience, including 9+ years in semiconductor test engineering or test operations.
• 3–5 years of program or operations leadership with schedule, cost, or quality accountability.
• Hands-on expertise in ATE programming, SLT tool flows, test methodology, yield debugging, test data analysis, and statistical methods.
• Experience shipping at least two high-volume programs from silicon bring-up through production ramp.
• Experience working with distributed teams, asynchronous collaboration, and cross-time-zone coordination.
• Willingness and ability to travel internationally to Asia production sites.

Nice to have

• Experience with XPU, high-performance computing, networking ASICs, hyperscaler customers, or advanced process nodes such as 3nm.
• Experience implementing new test technologies or evaluating ATE equipment.
• Knowledge of advanced margining, Vmin, in-circuit stress, multi-site testing, test software, and automation frameworks.
• On-site production operations, factory management, offshore team management, or Six Sigma experience.
