Staff Professional Services Operations Manager

Location: Remote in Canada or the United States

Salary: $139,200–$235,200 USD base salary per year for United States residents

What you will do

• Mature Professional Services operating cadences, including forecasting, planning alignment, business reviews, performance reporting, and executive readouts.
• Establish capacity, utilization, resource management, skill-based staffing, and hiring-planning practices across billable and non-billable roles.
• Improve visibility into project economics, including rate cards, fully loaded costs, project margins, fixed-fee budgets, utilization, and revenue recognition.
• Partner with Finance, Sales, Customer Success, CX Engineering, Solutions Architecture, and Delivery on PSA, time-tracking, CRM, reporting, and related tooling.
• Lead process improvements, automation, service catalog and pricing initiatives, SKU governance, and partner or channel delivery models.
• Connect Professional Services planning with sales pipeline, account and renewal timelines, deal strategy, and account planning.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in Professional Services Operations, Services Operations, Revenue Operations, or a related function in a technology or subscription business.
• Deep understanding of time-and-materials, fixed-fee, and blended Professional Services engagements.
• Experience connecting sales pipeline forecasting with delivery capacity, staffing, bookings, and revenue.
• Experience with resource management, utilization, project margin, delivery operations, PSA systems, or services go-to-market operations.
• Hands-on experience with Kantata or a comparable Professional Services Automation platform.
• Strong analytical, communication, stakeholder-management, systems, and process-improvement skills, with a pragmatic approach to ambiguous operational problems.

• Experience integrating services organizations, operating models, or systems, or driving operations transformation.
• Experience improving Professional Services attach, deal structuring, account planning, or services participation in the sales cycle.
• Experience with partner, channel, or customer-funded delivery models.
• Experience working in a distributed or all-remote organization.
