Mission Lead - SOF (AI)

Location: Remote within the United States; customer-facing role required to be based on the East Coast, preferably Washington, D.C. Work requires time in secure or classified environments and periodic travel.

Salary: $150,000–$170,000 annually, plus equity and 401(k) match.

What you will do

• Lead engagements with operational, technical, and leadership stakeholders to identify mission needs, constraints, and success criteria.
• Translate mission problems into requirements, milestones, measurable outcomes, and execution plans.
• Shape pilots, adoption plans, and pathways for converting early wins into sustained programs.
• Create technical narratives connecting agent-based software capabilities to operational requirements.
• Run customer syncs, internal standups, executive updates, risk reviews, and action-item tracking.
• Coordinate Product, Engineering, Mission, Security, and Operations teams through delivery, onboarding, training, adoption, and expansion.

Requirements

• 6+ years owning outcomes in complex customer environments, preferably within the SOF or PSYOPs/IO community.
• Ability to lead cross-functionally with high autonomy and synthesize ambiguity into clear plans.
• Strong written and verbal communication, stakeholder management, planning, prioritization, and follow-through.
• Technical fluency sufficient to connect mission problems with software capabilities and measurable outcomes.
• U.S. Persons status and at least a current Top Secret U.S. Department of Defense or Intelligence Community clearance are required.
• Availability to work in secure or classified environments, travel periodically, and be based on the East Coast is required.

Nice to have

• Experience deploying or fielding solutions in secure or regulated environments, including ATO/IL environments and classified workflows.
• Experience with requirements, budgets, authorities, timelines, contracting pathways, cyber, information warfare, ISR, networks, or command and control.
• Experience running executive-level customer updates, QBRs, or steering committees.
