Senior Technical Program Manager

Location: Arlington, VA, United States; hybrid work with 3 days per week in the Arlington office required

Salary: $142,800–$178,500 USD annual base salary, with potential bonus and equity incentives

hirify.global designs, builds, and operates a large constellation of imaging satellites and delivers satellite data through a cloud-based platform for commercial, environmental, and humanitarian use.

What you will do

• Drive complex technical programs across product, engineering, design, data science, and other functions.
• Execute product and engineering roadmaps through end-to-end planning, schedules, milestones, and definitions of done.
• Translate product and engineering inputs into capacity-checked timelines and resolve cross-team conflicts.
• Coordinate requirements implementation with engineering and manage scope and work for external software integration developers.
• Identify dependencies and risks, support data-driven decisions, and communicate progress, priorities, and changes to stakeholders.
• Improve delivery processes and operational efficiency across a matrixed engineering organization.

Requirements

• 6+ years of software development or program management experience in SaaS, complex data lifecycles, discovery/search engines, or cloud-based content delivery.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and experience leading broad cross-functional projects.
• Experience across the product lifecycle, from concept and development through launch, go-to-market, deprecation, and end-of-life.
• Experience establishing predictable execution patterns and coordinating high-stakes programs across global time zones.
• Experience managing system migrations or service consolidations from fragmented legacy tools to unified platform endpoints.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and operational scaling skills; active exploration of AI technologies for workflow and productivity improvements.

• Experience with remote sensing, Earth observation data, or geospatial systems.
