Cloud Solutions Engineer (Azure)

Location: 100% remote within the United States

What you will do

• Design and operate enterprise-grade Azure architectures across compute, networking, storage, identity, and data services.
• Develop infrastructure-as-code with Terraform, Bicep, or ARM templates and manage Azure landing zones, networks, and security controls.
• Architect and operate scalable Azure Kubernetes Service clusters and Azure data and analytics platforms.
• Build CI/CD pipelines with Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions for infrastructure and application releases.
• Implement observability, disaster recovery, business continuity, security hardening, and Azure cost optimization.
• Collaborate with application, security, and SRE teams, lead architecture reviews, and mentor junior engineers.

Requirements

• Must be eligible to work in the United States; new H-1B visa petitions cannot be sponsored.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• At least five years of cloud engineering experience, including three years focused on Azure in production.
• Hands-on experience with Azure core services, infrastructure-as-code, AKS, and CI/CD.
• Strong scripting skills in PowerShell, Bash, and Python.
• Strong understanding of cloud security, identity management, compliance, monitoring, troubleshooting, communication, and documentation.

Nice to have

• Azure Solutions Architect Expert or Azure DevOps Engineer Expert certification.
• Experience with hybrid or multi-cloud environments and service mesh technologies such as Istio or Linkerd.
• Exposure to FinOps and cloud cost-management tooling.
• Experience in HIPAA, PCI-DSS, SOC 2, or FedRAMP-regulated environments.
