Location: Tufts Medical Center; in-person clinical role with irregular hours and emergency responsibilities

Salary: $43.01–$70.95 per hour based on full-time equivalent

What you will do

• Provide professional nursing care from admission through discharge using evidence-based nursing practice.
• Support diagnostic right heart catheterizations, coronary angiography, emergent PCI, and mechanical circulatory support procedures.
• Monitor patients, vital signs, hemodynamic waveforms, ACTs, medications, vasopressors, anticoagulation, pacemakers, and circulatory support devices.
• Administer moderate sedation, perform circulating duties, and document procedures and patient responses.
• Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized patient and family-centered care plans.
• Collaborate with physicians, radiologic technologists, nurses, case managers, patients, and families to coordinate care, discharge, safety, and quality improvement.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing; an associate degree may be considered subject to Nursing Executive Council review.
• Current Registered Nurse license and compliance with the Massachusetts Nurse Practice Act.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.
• Ability to stand and walk extensively, transfer patients and equipment, handle emergency situations, and work irregular hours.
• Ability to work around hazardous materials, radiation, bodily substances, infectious diseases, and other clinical risks.
