LPN - Hematology/Oncology - Stoneham (32hrs)

Location: Tufts Medical Center Cancer Center, Stoneham, United States; onsite clinical role with patient-facing duties.

Salary: $31.00–$36.61 per hour, based on full-time equivalent.

What you will do

• Provide nursing care under the supervision of a registered nurse and implement prescribed plans of care.
• Coordinate oncology patient appointments, tests, schedules, follow-up, and transitions between departments.
• Triage patient calls, provide education about diseases, treatments, medications, tests, and available services.
• Track patients across the continuum of care and connect them with oncology nurses, social workers, dieticians, and other resources.
• Document care plans, patient charges, clinical information, and required quality data accurately.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, departments, patients, and families to support safe and effective care.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Graduation from an accredited practical nursing program.
• Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license required.
• At least two years of relevant nursing experience.
• Ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, physicians, and healthcare professionals.
• Knowledge of the nursing process, pharmacology, medication administration, patient monitoring, and age-appropriate care.

• Three years of relevant nursing experience.
