Registered Nurse, RN - Adult Complex Medical Unit

Location: Tufts Medical Center; onsite clinical role

Salary: $43.01–$70.95 per hour based on full-time equivalent

What you will do

• Provide professional nursing care in accordance with physician orders and nursing standards.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for a designated group of adult patients.
• Manage patient and family-centered care from admission through discharge.
• Care for complex medical and infectious disease cases, including COPD, acute coronary syndrome, sepsis, pneumonia, endocarditis, cellulitis, and wound infections.
• Coordinate care and collaborate with physicians and other healthcare providers.
• Work 36 hours per week on rotating day and night shifts in the 23-bed Proger 7 unit.

Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Knowledge of current healthcare trends, technology, pharmacology, treatment modalities, quality, and patient safety.
• Ability to apply the nursing process and evidence-based or best-practice standards.

Nice to have

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
• Specialty nursing certifications.
