VP, Cloud Infrastructure Engineering Lead - GenAI

Location: Charlotte, North Carolina, United States. Primarily office-based to support in-person collaboration.

What you will do

• Develop and implement scalable, repeatable cloud infrastructure strategies for generative AI workloads.
• Design secure architecture patterns for AI research, testing, development, and production environments.
• Set up and maintain AI models, sandbox environments, and research platforms for GenAI exploration.
• Monitor and optimize cloud workload performance, reliability, and cost-effectiveness.
• Manage cloud cost estimation, transparency, and financial planning with the FinOps team.
• Lead infrastructure support across GenAI exploration, development, and rollout initiatives.

Requirements

• 10+ years of infrastructure management experience, including 4+ years of cloud experience.
• Strong proficiency with AWS cloud platforms and related services.
• Experience with cloud security, policy as code, and Prisma.
• Knowledge of AWS Bedrock and large language models, or strong Terraform experience with knowledge of Ansible.
• Experience with GitHub, Copilot, Amazon Q, or Microsoft Copilot.
• Experience leading teams through Agile and DevSecOps processes, preferably in AWS and Python environments.

Nice to have

• AWS, Azure, or FinOps certification.
• GenAI certification for LLMs or platforms such as Bedrock or Copilot.
