Senior GenAI & Data Engineer

Location: Reston, Virginia, United States; hybrid with an onsite expectation of 3–5 days per week

Salary: $85,000–$110,000 per year

What you will do

• Develop and integrate AI-enabled solutions, AI agents, and Retrieval Augmented Generation applications.
• Create scalable data pipelines, workflows, data models, and processing solutions for large-scale data.
• Implement AI capabilities across enterprise applications, data platforms, and business systems.
• Use Amazon Bedrock, AWS Lambda, AWS Glue, and AWS Step Functions to build cloud-native solutions.
• Design and maintain serverless, containerized, and event-driven workloads.
• Connect applications, AI services, data platforms, and enterprise systems through REST APIs and integration techniques.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience with Generative AI, LLMs, AI agents, and enterprise AI solutions.
• Experience implementing RAG solutions and working with Amazon Bedrock.
• Advanced Python and PySpark skills for data processing, analytics, automation, and AI application development.
• Strong data engineering experience, including data pipelines, data models, and large-scale data processing.
• Experience with AWS Lambda, AWS Glue, AWS Step Functions, serverless architectures, containerized workloads, event-driven systems, REST APIs, and system integration.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field, plus strong communication and collaboration skills.
