Investment Banking - Banker - REGAL, Sports - Vice President - New York

Base pay: $275,000 USD annually

What you will do

• Lead the execution of M&A, capital markets, and advisory transactions in the sports industry.
• Manage day-to-day deal processes, milestones, and timelines.
• Oversee the development and quality control of financial models and client materials.
• Serve as the primary client contact on deal execution matters and cultivate new business opportunities with senior bankers.
• Mentor and guide Analysts and Associates.
• Travel as requested by senior deal team members or clients.

Requirements

• 6+ years of investment banking experience covering the Sports industry, preferably at a bulge bracket firm. Experience in stadium or arena finance, team or league financing, and/or sector advisory work is expected.
• Strong leadership, client relationship management, and negotiation skills.
• Proven transaction execution experience in investment banking.
• Advanced technical and strategic advisory capabilities.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines while synthesizing large amounts of information and developing innovative solutions.
• Ability to manage projects independently, assume significant responsibility, interact with clients, and assess and mitigate reputational, operational, and credit risk.
• Experience with sell-side and buy-side M&A processes and equity and debt capital raises.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Finance, Business, or an equivalent field is required.
• SIE, Series 79, and Series 63 certifications.

Nice to have

• MBA or other master’s degree.
• Established work history or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military service, or education.
• Experience with Microsoft Office products.
