Registered Nurse Neurosurgery

Location: 12251 S. 80th Av., Palos Heights, Illinois, United States; onsite day shift

Salary: USD 34.50–55.20 per hour

What you will do

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for assigned neurosurgical patients.
• Provide direct patient care and clinical interventions based on patient needs.
• Monitor and document patient responses to therapeutic interventions and progress toward outcomes.
• Communicate patient status and care plans with patients, families, and multidisciplinary team members.
• Direct support personnel during assigned shifts and maintain patient, visitor, and staff safety.
• Participate in quality improvement activities and follow research protocols.

Requirements

• Current Registered Professional Nurse license or eligibility in the State of Illinois
• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing
• Basic Life Support CPR certification
• Clinical competence, accountability, compassion, and collaborative practice
• Responsibility for ongoing professional development and specialty-related education

Nice to have

• One year of nursing experience
