Transportation Delivery Operations Supervisor (Logistics)

Location: Houston, Texas, United States; on-site. Overnight third shift, Sunday–Thursday, 9:00 p.m.–5:30 a.m., with hours subject to business needs.

What you will do

• Lead the delivery operations team to ensure timely and complete order deliveries.
• Plan daily, weekly, and monthly operating strategies, staffing levels, and headcount requirements.
• Partner with senior management to achieve productivity, accuracy, budget, and facility performance goals.
• Improve department processes and procedures using operational reports and performance analysis.
• Participate in hiring, training, coaching, and driver check rides.
• Promote safe work practices and support the organization’s safety culture; drive and deliver orders when needed.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED and 3+ years of transportation experience.
• Knowledge of transportation systems, processes, productivity standards, and related technology.
• Basic English communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Valid driver’s license with a safe driving history and continued eligibility to operate a commercial motor vehicle.
• Ability to pass a DOT physical and drug screen where legally permissible and obtain a role-specific 6-month DOT medical card.
• At least 21 years old and able to lift, lower, push, pull, or carry products weighing up to 70 pounds.
