Associate Product Manager - Life Sciences (m/f/d) - 1 year project

Location: Griesheim, Germany, based in the office with 20% home-office flexibility and up to 20% business travel

What you will do

• Represent customer needs in interdisciplinary product development projects from requirements definition through launch.
• Manage product launches through a stage-gate Product Development & Introduction process.
• Assess market requirements and user needs, and develop market-entry and pricing strategies.
• Prepare business cases for product opportunities and support investment decisions.
• Coordinate marketing, technical materials, sales training, and launch plans with product marketing teams.
• Maintain product lines by monitoring customer satisfaction, competitors, customer needs, product changes, sales materials, and portfolio metrics.

Requirements

• Scientific or engineering degree; experience in the clinical IVD sector is required for engineering backgrounds.
• Working experience in the clinical laboratory instrumentation industry from product management, marketing, or R&D.
• Fluent written and spoken English required.
• Ability to travel up to 20% and communicate effectively in a global organization.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and independent-working skills.
• Pragmatic, business-driven team player who demonstrates accountability and customer focus.

Nice to have

• PhD or MBA.
• Good knowledge of a second language.
