IT Support Specialist (Windows)

Location: Conshohocken, Pennsylvania, United States; onsite role with occasional travel and weekend or off-hours work

What you will do

• Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain new and existing PCs, laptops, and connected equipment.
• Administer computer networks and desktop environments.
• Resolve escalated helpdesk tickets requiring complex or time-consuming investigation.
• Monitor and maintain IT systems and software.
• Manage IT inventory and perform additional IT support duties.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of IT support or helpdesk experience.
• Associate’s degree in computer technology or a related field, relevant certification, or equivalent work experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Office 365, Active Directory, and Windows-based PCs and laptops.
• Strong troubleshooting, communication, customer service, organization, multitasking, and collaboration skills.
• Ability to lift or carry up to 50 pounds, stand and walk for extended periods, climb stairs and ladders, and work in office, warehouse, or fabrication environments.
• Willingness to travel and work occasional weekends or off-hours is required.

Nice to have

• Two years of Windows PC support experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer technology or a related certification.
• Experience with VMware deployment and administration, Red Hat Linux, and Cisco networking hardware.
