System Support Analyst (Windows)

Location: Hybrid D.C. Metro Area, United States; Monday–Friday, 12 PM–8 PM EST

Salary: $56,000–$106,000 annually

What you will do

• Support a government system that automates critical processes for federal customers and noncitizens in the United States.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and continuous improvement activities.
• Monitor the system, analyze issues and trends, and help maximize uptime.
• Troubleshoot client and user issues with clients, IT staff, and team members.
• Rotate through Tier II support and assist users with system questions and problems.
• Document resolutions and develop technical skills needed to support the program.

Requirements

• Associate’s degree and at least two years of experience providing system support.
• Strong experience troubleshooting Microsoft Windows and desktop hardware, with knowledge of Windows 11, registry settings, group policies, Active Directory, and networking concepts.
• Ability to research complex software problems, identify root causes, and implement solutions.
• Experience working in an Agile Scrum environment with Jira or a similar tool.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, organization, time management, and collaboration skills.
• Ability to obtain the required government Public Trust security clearance and work in the hybrid D.C. Metro Area.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Current ICE or other DHS clearance and experience supporting a federal government client.
• Experience with knowledge bases, Confluence, BeyondTrust, or other remote assistance software.
• PowerShell scripting, CompTIA A+/Security+ certification, and knowledge of NIST controls.
• Experience with security audits and writing security SOPs.
