VP, Nordics and Baltics (Music Distribution)

Location: Europe, Sweden, Stockholm. The role oversees regional offices, requires attendance at industry events, and involves international travel.

Global music distribution company operating in over 50 markets and distributing and marketing music from independent artists and labels through digital and physical retailers.

What you will do

• Identify and secure new business opportunities across the Nordics and Baltics, building a pipeline of independent label and artist signings.
• Drive regional revenue growth by communicating and operationalising the value proposition.
• Manage relationships with distributed music clients, including frontline and catalogue labels.
• Oversee regional offices, local compliance, operational efficiency, and leadership support.
• Lead, mentor, and develop the regional team while collaborating with UK, European, and global stakeholders.
• Build relationships with retail and industry partners, promote product adoption, and represent the business at events and conferences.

Requirements

• Senior management or business leadership experience with responsibility for high-performing teams.
• Strong knowledge of the local music industry, digital landscape, music retail, analytics, and social media.
• Experience at a label or distribution company managing catalogues, frontline releases, and client relationships.
• Advanced organisational, prioritisation, communication, and multitasking skills.
• Passion for independent music and flexibility to work evenings and weekends, attend industry events, and travel internationally.
• Fluent English.
