What you will do

• Assemble and disassemble Centaur, Taurus, Mars, and Titan gas turbine engines, power turbines, reduction gearboxes, and stationary sub-assemblies.
• Follow engineering drawings, work instructions, specifications, oral instructions, and established shop practices.
• Use precision measuring instruments, hand and power tools, shop equipment, machinery, test equipment, and material-handling equipment.
• Identify component quality issues and work with Engineering, technicians, planners, and supporting departments to resolve technical problems.
• Record discrepancies, incidents, assembly and repair activities, and quality documentation in standard production applications.
• Maintain a safe, clean, orderly manufacturing workspace and support continuous improvement across Sub-Assemblies, Accessory Build, and Turbine Build.

Requirements

• High school diploma or trade school certificate.
• At least two years of hands-on mechanical or turbomachinery experience and two years of manufacturing experience.
• Ability to operate shop equipment, bench tools, hand tools, pneumatic tools, hydraulic lifts, and inspection equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, schematics, specifications, and written instructions in English.
• Ability to read micrometers and other precision-measuring instruments.
• Flexibility to change shifts, maintain reliable attendance, and repeatedly lift or move parts weighing up to 25 pounds.

Nice to have

• Experience with hirify.global turbomachinery models.
• A&P license or a technical degree in engineering or manufacturing.
• Associate degree or experience in a Lean Manufacturing environment.
