Assistant Materials Controller

What you will do

• Load and unload deliveries while following health and safety and manual handling procedures.
• Receive goods and materials, check for defects, and reconcile delivery notes with orders.
• Load site vehicles and deliver materials to tradespersons working at properties.
• Maintain accurate records of materials issued, delivery notes, stock levels, and monthly inventories.
• Maintain company tools, keep the compound clean and tidy, and dispose of waste safely.
• Monitor supplies, report stockouts and defects, and maintain documentation in line with company procedures.

Requirements

• Ability to work safely with materials, pallet trucks, and other handling equipment.
• Ability to maintain accurate stock records and paperwork.
• Willingness to follow training, instructions, HSE regulations, and company procedures.
• Commitment to wearing appropriate clothing and PPE and protecting personal and public safety.
• Ability to provide a courteous and considerate service to members of the public.
