Talent Transformation Consultant

Location: Hybrid role with 3 days per week in the Hudson Yards, NYC, or Stamford, CT office and 2 days working from home; travel to other Guardian offices may be required. Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States without current or future employer sponsorship.

Salary: $132,420.00–$217,545.00 base pay annually, with potential eligibility for incentive compensation.

What you will do

• Advise Lines of Business and functional HR partners on talent-related needs and transformation-of-work use cases.
• Conduct talent needs assessments and strategic workforce planning, including future capability forecasting.
• Implement enterprise talent programs while adapting delivery to each business unit’s culture and operating context.
• Define success metrics, monitor outcomes, and synthesize stakeholder feedback to improve talent solutions.
• Lead change management and guide leaders through adoption of new talent and development practices.
• Partner with Center of Excellence colleagues on enterprise rollout and ongoing program optimization.

Requirements

• 5–8+ years of progressive experience in talent, organizational effectiveness, HR business partnership, consulting, or a related field.
• Knowledge of talent management, organizational effectiveness, or related disciplines.
• Experience partnering with HR and business teams to deliver talent initiatives and improve processes or practices.
• Strong consulting, facilitation, persuasive communication, and stakeholder-influence skills.
• Ability to lead complex initiatives, solve ambiguous problems, and drive adoption of evolving talent practices.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States without employer visa sponsorship is required.

Nice to have

• Degree in Industrial-Organizational Psychology or Human Resources.
• Experience advising senior leaders on complex or sensitive talent matters.
• Project-management experience involving significant scope, ambiguity, and risk.
• Experience using AI to improve HR processes.
