Legal Counsel (Ecommerce)

Location: Hybrid (at least 3 days a week in the office) in London, UK

What you will do

• Advise on advertising regulatory compliance, ensuring campaigns meet ASA, CAP, and consumer protection rules.
• Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of commercial contracts, including wholesale, brand partnerships, and supplier agreements.
• Guide the business on the legal implications of using AI in marketing and creative content.
• Manage legal aspects of supply chain, logistics, warehousing, and sustainability/ESG reporting.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external counsel to drive critical business projects forward.
• Identify legal risks and deliver training to the legal team and the wider business on relevant issues.

Requirements

• PQE Qualified Solicitor.
• General commercial legal experience gained from private practice or in-house positions.
• Previous experience working in a fast-paced, agile, and growing in-house commercial environment.
• Strong communication skills for interacting with stakeholders across all levels and geographies.
• Enthusiastic adoption of AI technologies.
• Must be based in or able to commute to the London office at least 3 days per week.
