Financial Lead in Processes and Control

Location: London, United Kingdom. The role is based in London; the Work from Anywhere policy permits working outside the country of employment for up to 2 months within a rolling 12-month period.

What you will do

• Help design and implement the Finance Target Operating Model across processes, systems, and data.
• Develop transformation roadmaps and redesign finance processes to improve productivity, controls, user experience, and compliance readiness.
• Lead finance systems, automation, and data governance initiatives from requirements through implementation and post-go-live stabilisation.
• Improve close processes, journal management, reconciliations, variance analysis, reporting, and end-to-end transaction flows.
• Track transformation benefits, manage delivery risks, and support adoption of new processes and technologies.
• Partner with Finance, Technology, Legal, Operations, and commercial stakeholders while reporting progress and risks to senior leadership.

Requirements

• Qualified accountant with ACA, ACCA, CIMA, ICAS, or equivalent certification.
• Experience operating at Head of Finance or Financial Controller level with oversight of the full accounting cycle.
• Experience with multi-GAAP statutory accounting across multiple entities and jurisdictions.
• Strong knowledge of financial close, reconciliations, consolidation, intercompany accounting, journal management, and statutory reporting.
• Experience leading finance systems or process implementation projects and designing future-state close operating models.
• Strong project management, change leadership, stakeholder management, and hands-on analytical skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with FloQast, BlackLine, OneStream, Prophix, or comparable close automation and EPM platforms.
• Experience in a fast-growing international SaaS or technology business.
• Experience with NetSuite, Workday, SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, and reporting or automation tools.
• PMP, PRINCE2, Agile, or Lean Six Sigma qualification.
