ATE Lab Technician (Semiconductor Test)

Salary: $58,000–$64,000 CAD per year

What you will do

• Maintain the ATE lab, including hardware and equipment organization, preventative maintenance, calibration, and uptime.
• Set up and support remote users of test equipment.
• Coordinate equipment support and communication with vendors.
• Operate manufacturing, test, development, and diagnostic equipment, including oscilloscopes, signal generators, test programs, and specialized test apparatus.
• Perform operational tests, isolate faults, and assist with corrective actions for system and equipment malfunctions.
• Support PCB hardware fabrication, bill-of-materials procurement, assembly, checkout, and troubleshooting.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or Technician/Technologist Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or a similar discipline; equivalent hands-on experience and education may be considered.
• Experience working in a laboratory, particularly with high-speed measurement equipment or semiconductor test equipment.
• Ability to work cross-functionally and build relationships with peers in other disciplines.
• Ability to work to aggressive project timelines.
• Ability to read and work from schematics, diagrams, and written or verbal descriptions.
