Safety Leader

What you will do

• Establish safety goals and lead the hirify.global Safety Management System.
• Build and continuously improve a behavioral-based safety culture across the organization.
• Develop and maintain safety programs, policies, procedures, and training for OSHA compliance.
• Lead incident investigations, identify root causes, and implement short- and long-term corrective measures.
• Inspect facilities, machinery, and safety equipment to identify hazards and prevent acute and ergonomic injuries.
• Coach employees and safety teams, support continuous improvement, manage the OSHA 300 log, and coordinate return-to-work activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree preferred, preferably in environmental health and safety.
• At least 2 years of experience in safety leadership, safety team involvement, or safety training.
• Demonstrated positive impact from leading safety program improvements.
• Moderate to advanced computer skills with Microsoft Office and other software.
• Manufacturing experience, OSHA VPP knowledge, and familiarity with lean manufacturing are preferred.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without requiring sponsorship now or in the future.
