Senior Software Engineer (Elixir)

What you will do

• Own the full lifecycle of software features, from ideation and design through delivery, maintenance, and operations.
• Build, modify, test, and scale back-end functionality with Elixir/Phoenix and interact with React-based front-end applications.
• Work with customers and vendors to identify pain points, prototype solutions, iterate, and launch product improvements.
• Solve technical and supply chain challenges affecting the third-party logistics industry.
• Incorporate information security commitments and requirements into information technology processes.

Requirements

• 8+ years of software engineering experience.
• Experience with MVC frameworks and willingness to learn Elixir/Phoenix.
• Experience with React or React Native.
• Experience turning wireframes into production-level features.
• Ability to write clean, reliable, and maintainable code.
• Experience or appreciation for test-driven development and code review, with strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Nice to have

• Previous startup experience.
• Experience with Elixir or functional programming.
• Previous logistics or supply chain experience.
