Senior Product Engineer (Healthcare)

Location: Remote in Kentucky, United States; occasional travel to hirify.global offices for training or meetings may be required.

Salary: $106,900–$147,000 per year, plus eligibility for a bonus incentive plan.

What you will do

• Shape product direction, define roadmap items, write requirements, and own measurable outcomes.
• Design, develop, and deploy scalable full-stack web applications with accessible user interfaces.
• Build GraphQL APIs and scalable, domain-driven Node.js microservices.
• Optimize application performance and security using techniques such as code splitting, caching, OAuth2, and JWT.
• Deploy cloud-native applications using Azure, GCP, or AWS with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Extend AI-accelerated development skills and tooling while collaborating with designers, product managers, and engineers.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of software engineering experience, including 3 years in full-stack web development.
• Hands-on experience with React, JavaScript or TypeScript, HTML, CSS, GraphQL, Node.js, microservices, and CI/CD.
• Strong knowledge of WCAG 2.2, semantic HTML, ARIA, assistive technology testing, and accessible UI development.
• Experience with TDD, REST and OpenAPI, SQL and NoSQL databases, event streaming, cloud platforms, and containerization.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• Home work requires a dedicated space that protects member PHI and HIPAA information, plus internet service with at least 25 Mbps download and 10 Mbps upload speeds.

Nice to have

• Experience with TanStack, Module Federation, Apollo Federation, Python and FastAPI, or performance monitoring tools.
• Azure, AWS, or equivalent cloud certification.
• Healthcare standards experience, including HIPAA or FHIR.
• Experience integrating LLMs or AI APIs into production applications.
