Health Scientist Lead

Location: Not specified; work is primarily performed in an office/warehouse setting.

Salary: $118,000–$140,000 per year, with the final offer contingent on location, skillset, and experience.

What you will do

• Lead and support national and programmatic public health evaluation activities.
• Develop evaluation plans, logic models, evaluation questions, indicators, and performance measurement approaches.
• Design and conduct implementation research assessing fidelity, adaptations, reach, barriers, facilitators, and contextual factors.
• Collect, analyze, interpret, and report quantitative and qualitative program data.
• Facilitate partner meetings and provide evaluation training, technical assistance, and consultation.
• Contribute to rapid evaluations, case studies, continuous quality improvement, performance monitoring, and dissemination of findings.

Requirements

• Master's degree in public health, health science, epidemiology, evaluation, social science, or a related field.
• At least 10 years of relevant professional experience in public health evaluation, health science, implementation research, or program evaluation.
• Experience with national program assessments, mixed-methods evaluation, evaluation planning, logic models, and performance measurement.
• Knowledge of implementation research frameworks, methods, and program development, monitoring, and evaluation procedures.
• Experience using Microsoft Office applications and managing CDC administrative systems, including Human Subjects, OMB, IRB, and E-Clearance.
• Ability to obtain and maintain required customer clearance and complete government-required background investigations or security clearances.
