Manufacturing Scientist II (Immunoassay)

Location: On-site in Chaska, Minnesota, United States

Salary: $75,000–$90,000 annually, plus bonus or incentive pay.

What you will do

• Support daily production needs for a reagent manufacturing work cell.
• Investigate and resolve assay failures during in-process, pre-fill, and post-fill reagent testing.
• Provide technical expertise across multiple immunoassay manufacturing areas.
• Lead cross-functional teams in resolving non-conforming issues for existing products.
• Assess manufacturing processes and implement improvements focused on performance, quality, and cost.
• Maintain bills of materials, material specifications, SOPs, investigation reports, and related documentation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in biochemistry, chemistry, biology, or a related field with 2+ years of industry experience, or a master’s degree.
• Technical understanding of biochemical and immunoassay processes, including data analysis and interpretation.
• Experience communicating technical concepts to both expert and non-expert audiences.
• Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and the Windows operating system.
• Experience in a regulated industry such as FDA- or ISO-regulated environments is preferred.

Nice to have

• Experience manufacturing biological products or pharmaceuticals.
