What you will do

• Design and develop in vivo base editing drug products for bone marrow failure disorders.
• Characterize candidate product genotoxicity using genomic assays such as CHANGE-seq-BE and CHANCE-seq, including variant-aware analysis.
• Optimize the potency and specificity of HSC-targeted lipid nanoparticle gene editing approaches.
• Co-lead multidisciplinary platform development for in vivo genome editing medicines.
• Coordinate scientists, assess technical and drug development risks, analyze results, and present updates to DRIVE and ARPA-H teams.
• Draft manuscripts and figures for publication in high-impact journals.

Requirements

• PhD in genomics, molecular biology, cell biology, or a related scientific field.
• Expertise in genome editing, genomics, and next-generation sequencing.
• At least four years of hands-on laboratory experience with CRISPR genome editors and NGS library preparation.
• Seven years of relevant experience with a PhD, ten years with a master's degree, or twelve years with a bachelor's degree.
• Strong communication, organizational, and presentation skills.
• Work in Memphis, Tennessee, United States.
