VP of Finance

Location: Remote

Salary: $250,000–$275,000 per year, plus equity and bonus opportunities.

What you will do

• Own annual and quarterly budgeting, long-range planning, cash-flow forecasting, and monthly performance reporting.
• Develop financial strategies covering liquidity, capital allocation, investment decisions, and financing activities.
• Build financial models, forecasts, scenarios, operating metrics, and company-wide KPIs.
• Translate financial and operational data into actionable insights for executive leadership and support strategic business decisions.
• Partner with the CFO on investor relations, financing, capital planning, and relationships with external financial partners.
• Lead finance transformation, scalable systems and processes, automation, AI adoption, and continued development of the Finance team.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; an MBA or advanced degree is preferred.
• 10+ years of progressive FP&A, corporate finance, or strategic finance experience, including 5+ years of people leadership.
• Experience leading finance in a high-growth technology or similarly complex organization.
• Deep expertise in financial planning, forecasting, budgeting, cash-flow management, and financial modeling.
• Strong executive communication, cross-functional leadership, judgment, attention to detail, and ability to operate in ambiguity.
• Hands-on experience building, developing, and retaining high-performing finance teams.

Nice to have

• Finance leadership experience in a high-growth startup or technology company.
• Experience with hardware, manufacturing, inventory management, cost accounting, or supply-chain finance.
• Experience supporting SaaS or software business models.
• Investor relations, capital raising, FP&A systems, financial reporting, automation, or AI workflow experience.
